OWSM policy for REST Bindings (Doc ID 2804013.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 07, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Web Services Manager - Version 12.2.1.4.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

There is a secured environment (HTTPS) and all the SOAP and REST projects are going to use the security key stores for all communication, i.e. all the communications should e authorized by the key stores. The SOAP bindings were enabled with "wss10_saml_token_with_message_protection_service_policy", and this policy is working as expected. However,  there is the need to to find a similar OWSM policy for the REST bindings. i.e. all the incoming messages should be encrypted and the communication with the services should happen through WS-Security (Keystores).

Which can be the suitable OWSM policy for the REST bindings ?
