Symptoms

After configuring a read-only Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) User by following note: “How to Create a "Read Only" User Profile in ODI Studio 12c (Document 2322998.1)” and attempting to open a model based on a database technology (for example, Oracle) with the read-only user, the following error occurs:
