Coherence Service in ENDANGERED State When Patching (Doc ID 2815583.1)

Goal

Standalone Coherence cluster is hosted on 8 servers. There are 2 Racks (RackA and RackB). Each Rack has 4 Physical machines. Did OS patching on 4 servers at a time (i.e. RackA was down while RackB is up and running and viceversa). During patching, noticed that one of the service is in Endangered state and cache is not accessible. All the Services are back again to Machine-safe only after bring up all the coherence nodes.

1. Why are the services in ENDANGERED state?

2. From Jconsole,  found the AveragePartitionSizeKB size is 0 for the ones that are Machine-Safe. why ?
