Users not Being Redirected to the Default Portal for Authenticated Users After Login (Doc ID 2822404.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

WebCenter Portal is not opening the specified portal/page for Authenticated Users after login.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Expect to see the desired portal page after login.


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. Set the default Page URL for authenticated users.

    • Go to Administration -> General.

    • Scroll down to the "Default Portal" section.

    • Set the default portal page for authenticated users to a private portal or to a specific Page URL in a private Portal.
      e.g.:

      Authenticated Users
            Open a Specific Page URL: http://<HOST>:<PORT>/webcenter/portal/<PORTAL_NAME>/<PAGE_NAME>

      or

      Authenticated Users
            Open a Specific Portal: http://<HOST>:<PORT>/webcenter/portal/<PORTAL_NAME>

    • Click Save.


  2. Access a Public Portal and login.
    The specified portal page for Authenticated users is not displayed.
