Unable to Discover GoldenGate MicroServices in OEM console HTTP/response error code = 401 User Unauthorized: Invalid Credentials (Doc ID 2825830.1)

EM-06005 - Connection Setup Failed
verify host, port and user credentials

Symptoms

Unable to "Discover Now" and promote GoldenGate MicroServices instance/targets in OEM console.

When checking -> $OEM_AGENT_HOME/agent_inst/sysman/emd/ogg_so_logs.log.0
after running "Discover Now" in OEM console that log shows entries/errors like:

com.oracle.sysman.goldengate.discovery.GoldenGateDiscovery getJSONDataFromUrl
INFO: Trying with http protocol.


com.oracle.sysman.goldengate.discovery.GoldenGateDiscovery getJSONDataFromUrl 
SEVERE: For the Url =
http://host.domain:9000/services/v2/deployments , HTTP/response error code = 401

com.oracle.sysman.goldengate.discovery.GoldenGateDiscovery getJSONDataFromUrl
SEVERE: User Unauthorized: Invalid Credentials.

com.oracle.sysman.goldengate.discovery.GoldenGateDiscovery getJSONDataFromUrl
SEVERE: Unable to connect via Non-SSL. One possible cause could be Invalid
credentials. java.net.ConnectException: EM-06005 - Connection Setup Failed.
Please verify host, port and user credentials.

 

Changes

GoldenGate MicroServices has "Basic" authentication disabled.
