Getting 404 Error After Login to WebCenter Portal Configured with Windows Native Authentication (WNA / Kerberos), After Refreshing the Page the User is Already Authenticated (Doc ID 2826141.1)

Symptoms

 

When attempting to login to WebCenter portal using Windows Native Authentication (WNA / Kerberos), the first access fails with 404 error.
After refreshing the page the user is already authenticated.

 

ERROR

Error 404--Not Found


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Configure WebCenter Portal with Active Directory and Windows Native Authentication.
     
  2. Access WebCenter Portal.
     
  3. Here you will get the error.
     
  4. Refresh the page using the browser refresh.
    Login should work this time.
