VCS Git URL Lost after ODI Studio Restart (Doc ID 2827483.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1.4.0 Studio has been configured with Version Control System (VCS) Git. VCS is moved to another system and the VCS Git URL is therefore modified.

While the new connection tests successfully once set, after restart of ODI Studio the the VCS Git URL is set back to the previous URL and not the new one, the new configuration doesn't seem to "stick".

To reproduce:

  1. Login to ODI 12.2.1.4.0
  2. Menu: Team -> Settings -> Edit Connection...
  3. Notice that the old URL is configured
  4. Set the new URL and hit ok
  5. Exit ODI Studio
  6. Log back in
  7. Team -> Settings -> Edit Connection...
    => notice that the URL is back to the old URL
