Oracle Service Bus 12.2.1.3 -REST service uses XML body to hold JSON data

Oracle Service Bus 12.2.1.3 – REST service uses XML body to hold JSON data
Issue:
Steps to reproduce:
1. Created OSB composite with REST adapter.
2. Added log (for testing purpose configured log Severity as Error) in pipeline.
3. Deploy and test the composite

Even though I used JSON data ({"new":"ved"}) as input for the composite, observed the log displayed the body wrapped with xml Body.
