Symptoms

After applying the WebLogic Server (WLS) October 2021 PSU for WLS 12.2.1.3 (Patch 33412599) or WLS 12.2.1.4 (Patch 33416868) , testing a connection using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) J2EE Agent to MySQL Database fails but test connection to MySQL is working with Local / No Agent.

The odiagent.log file shows the following error:
