Deleted Content occasionally still shows up in search results in FA environment. (Doc ID 2836229.1)

Symptoms

Deleted content occasionally still show up in search results in FA environment.  This issue is intermittent as it doesn't happen for all deleted content.

It was observed that this occurs because dIndexerState was set to 'X' as described in below KM note.

Indexer is not removing deleted content items from the revisions table (Doc ID 2656186.1)

 

As a result, the solution in above KM note needs to be applied each time this occurs.
