Symptoms
Accessing an embedded Visual Builder application using iFrame in WebCenter Portal fails with the following error:
ERROR
idcs-xxxx.identity.oraclecloud.com refused to connect.
STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Configure a Visual Builder application with IDCS which federates SAML token to same OAM.
- Confirm you can authenticate to the VB application directly.
- Configure WebCenter Portal with OAM.
- Ensure WebCenter Portal and the VB application use the same identity for users.
- Add an iFrame in a WebCenter Portal page.
- Call the VB application from the iFrame.
- Connect to WebCenter Portal and view the page with the iFrame.
Here you will see the following error:
idcs-xxxx.identity.oraclecloud.com refused to connect.
