Goal

Is it possible to pass custom attributes and their values between Identity Management and Salesforce via provisioning? 

When this is attempted using the 11.1.1.6 and 12.2.1.3.0 versions of the connector, Salesforce responds with various errors about 'unknown attributes', or 'required attributes not provided', or even 'attribute is not updatable.'
