Last updated on JUNE 03, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle HTTP Server - Version 12.2.1.4.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Unable to change password for a nodemanager in remote OHS which was set up along following document.

Remotely Administering Oracle HTTP Server

https://docs.oracle.com/en/middleware/fusion-middleware/web-tier/12.2.1.4/administer-ohs/getstart.html#GUID-D3B40017-E833-4034-8492-9D4A5E49FEF8

You can change password for nodemanager on AdminServer host (Host1) by following document.

https://docs.oracle.com/en/middleware/fusion-middleware/weblogic-server/12.2.1.4/nodem/java_nodemgr.html#GUID-5C96D584-36EC-4808-B3F5-6CC3E0548E8A

However, only OHS instance(Host2) exists in this environment. The password for nodemanager in this remote OHS can't be updated because it can't run nmEnroll in OHS environment.
