How to get the Full Java Stack in an StackOverflowError
(Doc ID 2854592.1)
Last updated on AUGUST 31, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle JDeveloper - Version 12.2.1.4.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
When a StackOverflowError is thrown, normally it will not show the full stack because the JVM limits the number of lines to a maximum of 1024 lines.
As the part that is left out contains the references to the code that originated the error, how is it possible to get the full stack?
