Symptoms

After submitting login credentials to access Enterprise Manager Fusion Middleware Control (EM FMWc), the user is redirected to a blank page with looping error page(/em/faces/helppages/errorPage.jspx). This occurs once Java is upgraded to JDK 1.8.0_331(or later) as part of April 2022(or later) CPU patching. The issue would also occur with later JDK versions(1.8.0_331+).

NOTE: This issue also impacts other Fusion Middleware console applications such as; BPM Workspace, OAM Console, OSB Console, Custom ADF application console logins, and possibly others.

The following is seen in the browser after submitting credentials and identifying targets phase. The user is presented with a looping blank error page. The URI is, /em/faces/helppages/errorPage.jspx

Changes

The WebLogic Domain had Java upgraded to 1.8.0_331 (version 8u331) or later.
