Users Aren't Getting Roles and Accounts From AD Sub Domain (Doc ID 2866096.1)

Symptoms

WebCenter Content Server 12c

The domain is configured with an Active Directory provider.

The AD server contains a sub domain.

As an example, the main AD server domain is mycompany.com.

The sub domain is subdomain.mycompany.com.

Users with group memberships in the main AD domain get their expected roles and accounts.

Such as cn=contributor,ou=groups,dc=mycompany,dc=com.

Users with group memberships in the sub domain aren't getting them.

Such as cn=contributor,ou=groups,dc=subdomain,dc=mycompany,dc=com.

The <WCC Managed Server>-diagnostic.log file may show an error like the following:
