Enterprise Manager FMW Console Fails with "500--Internal Server Error" (Doc ID 2873294.1)

Enterprise Manager for Fusion Middleware - Version 12.2.1.4.0 and later
Linux x86-64

Symptoms

After applying a linux update for Oracle OCI machines running with Linux x86-64, the Fusion Middleware contorl (/em) which is part of Oracle WebCenter Content 12.2.1.4 no longer works and displays below error. However the WebLogic console still works. 

 

Changes

Linux OS patches were applied.
