Exchange Connector Did Not Provision ProxyAddress To RemoteUserMailbox (Doc ID 2873862.1)

Symptoms

OIM exchange connector 12.2.1.3.0 did not provision proxyAddress to RemoteUserMailbox.

The Connector Server tried to set the given proxyAddress by using Set-MailUser on an account that has Recipient Type Details = RemoteUserMailbox and Recipient Type = MailUser. The actual logs say that the operation can not be performed because the object could not be found on the domain controller.

This is a hybrid Exchange environment. Exchange Online accounts can be created without problems. However, when users try to set the proxyAddress of an account, Set-MailUser are used instead of Set-RemoteMailbox.
