Symptoms

Unable To Delete Logons in ESSO Provisioning Gateway.

The following error is displayed while attempting to delete an application logon for a user in Oracle Enterprise Single Sign-On Provisioning Gateway via the Provisioning Gateway Web console of with CLI command interface.
  

ERROR

The user is not authorized for the action. at com.passlogix.vgo.pm.cli.ProvisioningConnection.sendInstruction(ProvisioningConnection.java:326)


STEPS

  1. 1. Log into Provisioning Gateway console.
  2. Search for user provision to be deleted.
  3. Click on the x icon next to the user.
  4. Click Yes to acknowledge warning message.
  5. Error message is displayed.

 

BUSINESS IMPACT

Due to this issue, users cannot delete user credentials in the provisioning gateway console or with the CLI API interface.
