Symptoms

Publish On-demand Queue Fails With: "GetAssetsToPublishOnDemand: .... java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: XXX"

 

When attempting to publish the on-demand queue, the following error is seen in the Admin UI Publishing console:


"Error: Could not get assets that can be published. Error number = -500.
[pagename=OpenMarket/Xcelerate/Actions/PublishConsoleFront] Error: com.openmarket.xcelerate.commands.ApprovedAssetsDispatcher: GetAssetsToPublishOnDemand: com.openmarket.basic.interfaces.AssetException: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: XXX
Publish Console"

Same error seen in sites.log as well:
