OdiOSCommand with Double-Quoted Parameters Fail After Upgrading JVM (Doc ID 2903706.1)

Symptoms

After updating the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) on the Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) instance running on a Windows operating system, the Studio Local (No Agent) is no longer able to call an external command via the OdiOSCommand tool to initiate a process. The following error or similar is returned:

A new Standalone agent was created, which is able to call the tool. When the JVM for Studio is returned to the original version, the command again works.

Changes

The JVM may have been upgraded recently.
