OUD 12c Rebuild Index Fails: "Entry ds-task-id=<id>,cn=Scheduled Tasks,cn=Tasks violates the Directory Server schema configuration because it includes attribute ds-task-rebuild-thread-count which is not allowed by any of the objectclasses defined..." (Doc ID 2903968.1)

Last updated on MAY 26, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Unified Directory - Version 12.2.1.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Re-indexing one of attributes or rebuild all in Oracle Unified Directory (OUD) fails, both online and offline.

For example:

Attribute "ds-task-rebuild-thread-count" is typically defined in 02-config.ldif but that file does not exist in this case. A custom 02-config_custom.ldif file exists but it does not have this attribute definition either.
