OID-DIP 12c Fails to Install Correctly With LDAP timeout Error When Running dipConfigurator (Doc ID 2904080.1)

Symptoms

After installing and setting up OID 12c successfully the dipConfigurator command fails with an LDAP timeout error.

The second time the command is run it appears to complete successfully but in Enterprise Manager - DIP Server Configuration the Test Connection button fails with "Unable to perform test".

Additional symptoms:

- This entry is not created in the OID directory tree: cn=Directory Integration Platform,cn=Products,cn=OracleContext

- dipConfigurator log contains no errors

- The wls_ods1 logs shows these errors:

<timestamp> <Error> <oracle.dip> <DIP-10013> <Exception
java.lang.RuntimeException: Credential not found
