Table Column Selection Cannot Be Cleared
(Doc ID 2905567.1)
Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle JDeveloper - Version 12.2.1.4.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
In a table with column selection enabled, if the user selects a column, it is not possible to clear that selection.
There are a couple of scenarios where one would expect to do that:
- Once the user selects a column, they can't remove the selection; only change the selected column.
- While the table has no rows, columns cannot be selected (this is OK). But if a column is selected while the table has rows and then the search is changed to return no rows, the column remains selected.
And since it is not possible to select any column while there are no rows, here we would expect the column selection to be cleared.
