Format Analysis Designator Not Finding Any Multi-word String Candidates in WFR (Doc ID 2907139.1)

Last updated on APRIL 18, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Forms Recognition - Version 12.2.1.4.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Using the Format Analysis Engine with the Format Designator option isn't finding any multi-word string candidates.

The single word designator strings find candidates with no issue.

Tested simple expression, string compare and regEx without success to find a string that looks like "Employer Name", i.e. a 2-word string with a space between the words.

Tested:
Employer Name
'Employer Name'
^Employer Name$
^Employer\sName$

None of the above found any candidates.  How can the correct compare method be chosen to create the proper string?

Changes

Creating a Non-AP Project custom class for a non-invoice document that contains a section header called, Employer Name followed by a section of text containing the appropriate text.
