(Doc ID 2908883.1)
Last updated on NOVEMBER 16, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle WebLogic Server - Version 12.2.1.4.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Default handling of Time zones in date/time values is changed in Connector/J 8.0. How to correct it?
While using SOA application with MySQL Server as database to insert date/time into one of the database field, it shows different values.
Driver used with 12.2.1.4 is mysql-connector-java-commercial-8.0.14.jar
After applying the patch 33727616, noticed that it is converting datetime to -5 hours before inserting to DB
As this patch is superseeded by 34012040, tried with the new patch as well but still the same issue.
