Is it Possible to Restrict ODI User Edit Access to the SQL code of a Session Log in Operator (Doc ID 2921725.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 24, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Data Integrator - Version 12.2.1.4.0 and later

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Users currently have "Edit" rights to manipulate running SQL statements with Operator profile. If the "Edit" grant for a session task log is restricted for the Profile by selecting Session Task Log > Profile Method "Edit" > Uncheck "Generic Privilege", it will disable the user right to change the Session Status as well as edit privilege for the SQL Code of the Session. So, is it possible to restrict users edit access to the SQL code in the Operator Session log?
