Java Standalone Client Goes Into Hung State While Communicating with WebLogic 14c Server via T3s (Doc ID 2924057.1)

Symptoms

When trying to communicate from a Java standalone application to WebLogic 14c Server, the request goes into hung state.
When analyzing the  WebLogic jars (wlthint3client.jar from WebLogic 14c), there is a wait as part of getSubjectManager() from SubjectManager.java.
The issue was not seen in WebLogic Server 12.2.1.4.0, using the wlfullclient. It is only seen in version 14c.

The error stack below, can be observed in the the application thread dump:

 

Changes

Moved a custom code, Java standalone application, from WebLogic 12.2.1.4 with wlfullclient, to WebLogic 14.1.1.0.0 with wlthint3client.
