Need to Block Users from Viewing the Folder Structure When Viewing Documents this way.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Users should not be able to view and navigate the folder structure.
STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Connect to WebCenter Portal.
- Go to the Documents page in a portal.
- Select the check box next to a document and select the "Get Link" icon.
- Note down the "Additional Link".
The URL should look like this:
https://host:port/webcenter/content/conn/<WCP-Connection-Name>/path/Enterprise%20Libraries/<Portal-name>/<folder-name>/<file-name>
For example:
http://host:port8/webcenter/content/conn/WebCenterSpaces-ucm/path/Enterprise%20Libraries/MyPortal/MyFolder/MyFile.pdf
- In the browser open the document URL:
e.g., in this case:
http://host:port8/webcenter/content/conn/WebCenterSpaces-ucm/path/Enterprise%20Libraries/MyPortal/MyFolder/MyFile.pdf
This should show the pdf file.
- Remove the file name form the URL in the browser and click enter to refresh the page with the change.
e.g., in this case:
http://host:port8/webcenter/content/conn/WebCenterSpaces-ucm/path/Enterprise%20Libraries/MyPortal/MyFolder
Here you will be able to see the folders in content server and navigate in the folders.
