Error 503--Service Unavailable after applying January CPU Patches (Doc ID 2928817.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 17, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle REST Data Services - Version 22.2.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Applied the January CPUs to WebLogic 14c and now we are unable to connect to the /ords URL.

Error seen:  Error 503--Service Unavailable

The server is currently unable to handle the request due to a temporary overloading or maintenance of the server. The implication is that this is a temporary condition which will be alleviated after some delay.
If known, the length of the delay may be indicated in a Retry-After header. If no Retry-After is given, the client SHOULD handle the response as it would for a 500 response.

One can still connect to the Adminserver url and one other managed service but one managed service receives the 503 error.
