Symptoms

When executing DBMS_LDAP.search_s against Microsoft Active Directory (MS AD) which returns more than 1000 entries, you get the error messages:

ORA-31202: DBMS_LDAP: LDAP client/server error: Sizelimit exceeded
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_SYS_ERROR", line 86
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_LDAP", line 1342
ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_LDAP", line 241
