Symptoms

After upgrade to Oracle Forms 12.2.1.19, some of the forms fail with compilation error:

PL/SQL ERROR 422 at line 29, column 3
no PL/SQL translation for the bindtype given for this bind variable
PL/SQL ERROR 0 at line 1, column 1
Compilation unit analysis terminated

 

Changes

 Upgrade to Oracle Forms 12.2.1.19.
