Goal

Customer has defined JAVA_HOME as /scratch/software/javase/current, which is a symbolic link to a JDK installed at /scratch/software/javase/jdk1.8.0_17. This makes it extremely easy to change versions of Java which retaining the configuration of the JAVA_HOME in OUD: simply change the symbolic link rather than having to reconfigure OUD

However, on installation, OUD follows the symbolic link and sets JAVA_HOME to the actual path (/scratch/software/javase/jdk1.8.0_172 ) rather than the symbolic link (/scratch/software/javase/current).

Is using a symlink for this purpose supported?
