Managed Server with Slow Response Times (Doc ID 2946392.1)

Symptoms

The problem was that high response times was observed in two managed servers of a domain. 

Metrics showed that the requests per minute had gradually-incremented from almost few hundred to close  to 1500 operations and then decreased gradually.
Additionally, this was for a short period of time, three minutes, and then return to normal workload about 300 operations.

Usual workload was less than 500 operations, having a response time less than a second.
