Uploading Documents Using a Custom Task Flow in WebCenter Portal Fails Intermittently With Error: A Connection To The Server Has Failed (status=unknown) (Doc ID 2947288.1)

Symptoms

From time to time, uploading documents using a custom task flow in WebCenter Portal shows a Pop Up window with the following error:



ERROR

A connection to the server has failed (status=unknown).


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced sporadically with the following steps:

  1. Connect to WebCenter Portal.
     
  2. Upload a document using a custom task flow.
    This will intermittently return the error.
     

The custom Task Flow is deployed as shared library and consumed in WebCenter Portal.
The issue only happens when accessing WebCenter Portal using a Load Balancer in HA setup.
