Symptoms

The Oracle Virtual Directory (OVD) 11g adapters.os_xml is configured with a remote ldap server (openldap) that does not recognize the Execution context ID (ECID) (unrecognized control: 2.16.840.1.113894.1.8.31).

Is there a way to instruct OVD not to send this control to the specific remote ldap server?
