OUD11g/12c - Using the ODSEE "ldapcmp" Command with OUD then Disconnects with Message "I/O Error" and "result=118" (Doc ID 2950857.1)

Last updated on MAY 25, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Unified Directory - Version 11.1.2.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When comparing the full subtree base DN searches with ODSEE to newly migrated OUD instances using the ldapcmp (ODSEE) command, OUD seems to disconnect after about 2 minutes (or more) every time.

This is only happening when using ODSEE's ldapcmp command, but not when using the ldapsearch command.
