Deletion of Credential Mapping PKI from WebLogic Admin Console Failed with "java.lang.Exception: The PKI credential mapping could not be found. Delete operation cancelled" Error (Doc ID 2951715.1)

Symptoms

While trying to delete credential mappings configuration from WebLogic Admin Console, it throws below error in AdminServer.log and entries does not get deleted   

Changes

In this case, Security realm data was exported from WebLogic 10.3.6 domain and imported to WebLogic 12.2.1.4 domain.

Navigations used in WebLogic Admin Console -

To export the data from security realms in 10.3.6 domain

   1.Login to WebLogic Admin Console

   2.In the left pane, select Security Realms and then select the realm whose security data you want to export (for example, myrealm)

   3.Expand Migration > Export

   4.In the Export Directory on Server field, specify the directory on the Administration Server to which to export the security data and save

To Import the security realm data in 12.2.1.4 domain

    1.Login to WebLogic Admin Console

    2.In the left pane, select Security Realms and then Select the security realm into which the security data is to be imported.

    3.Expand Migration > Import and specify the directory location that contains the exported security data in the Import Directory on Server field and save

Once the security realm data was populated, PKI was populated with KeyStore information at below navigation in 12.2.1.4 Admin Console

     SecurityRealm-><Realm_Name> ->Credential Mapping ->PKI

Deletion of entry was being done from below navigation in 12.2.1.4 Admin Console

     SecurityRealm-><Realm_Name>->Credential Mapping ->PKI
