"Unable To Find Valid Certification Path To Requested Target" Error After SSL Certificate Renewal (Doc ID 2955210.1)

Symptoms

The CA Root certificate was expired and as result it was necessary to create a new CA Root certificate.
After the new CA Root certificate was created and added to the keystore and wallet a new certificate was created for the database host as this expired as well, the next error is reported while trying to connect to the database using TCPS.
