Goal
How To Create a DAD using OHS Standalone or From Oracle Database 10g Companion CD
The goal of this document is to identify how to administer (add, modify and/or delete ) the Database Access Descriptors (DADs) on Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) when the GUI tool, Application Server Control is not available. This would be for an OHS Standalone or an installation of Oracle Database Server 10g Companion CD, (version 10.1 or 10.2)
If customer has installed Oracle Application Server 10g (9.0.4.X) or 10gR2 (10.1.2.X.X) the recommended method to perform mod_plsql administrative tasks is through the Enterprise Manager Application Server Control Page . But this tool is not available with the standalone products.
