Unable to Apply the Latest Patches Via the SPBAT Utility on HPUX Itanium (Doc ID 2958612.1)

When attempting to apply SPBAT it fails with the following error seen in the logs:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Attempt to apply the SPBAT via the Shell Script.
2. It fails and in reviewing the log the following is seen at the end of the error stack.
