Oracle Identity Governance (OIG): SAP UM Connector Raises NullPointerException when Modifying a Target Account (Doc ID 2960807.1)

Symptoms

User is updating the account level end_date to disable a user in SAP.   The provisioning action fails with the following exception:

The key lines in this stack are marked in bold.  They indicate that the update is attempting to execute a Groovy script for transformation.  While this specific issue and error occurred in the SAP connector, you may find a similar set of lines in an error stack for any connector that executes a OOTB or custom Transformation Groovy script.
