In the October 2023 Java CPU release, there will be two changes introduced in Java Security which can be seen in the Crypto Roadmap.

Use the server's cipher suite preference order instead of the client's when establishing a TLS connection
Increase the default TLS Diffie-Hellman group size from 1024-bit to 2048-bit
