ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

After applying the CPU Apr or Jan 2023 patch you are seeing this behavior that your SOA FTP adapters are continuously polling files from the VMS server and as per your understanding at VMS end they see the Runaway process initiated from our servers.The Runaway VMS process consumes 100% of a CPU and approximately 4,000,000(4M) IO per minute. This causes the VMS servers to go into hung state and it stop’s responding.
If we rollback the patch, you dont see this behavior.
STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Monitor the environment after applying the Jan 2023 SOA BP
2. See that a SFTP server (VMS OS) to which SOA is connecting to having issues.
