Symptoms

Placing two Portlets with af:table on a page does not work consistently.
Sometimes the portlets will return no data or they will show the following error:

ERROR

Remote Portlet Error

The Portal diagnostic log shows this error when encountering the "Remote Portlet Error":

A request to the producer URL "null" resulted in a status 200 response with fault string "Internal Server Error: javax.portlet.PortletException: doBridgeDispatch failed: error from Bridge in executing the request.; nested exception is: [[javax.servlet.ServletException: javax.portlet.PortletException: doBridgeDispatch failed: error from Bridge in executing the request". The fault code given was "{urn:oasis:names:tc:wsrp:v2:types}OperationFailed".

The Portlet diagnostic log shows the following error:

ADF_FACES-60098:Faces lifecycle receives unhandled exceptions in phase RESTORE_VIEW 1[[oracle.adf.controller.ControllerException: ADFC-06003: TaskFlowId for a child view port must be specified.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. Create two portlets having af:table.

  2. Add the two portlets to a Portal page.

  3. View the page.
One of the portlets show the "Remote Portlet Error" error.
