Symptoms

OAuth revoke endpoint fails, in the OAM log file the following error is seen "SQLException: ORA-12899: value too large for column ..."

Background

  • Enabled /revoke endpoint OAuth/OIDC endpoint
  • Testing from postman or other curls result in 200/success result code.
  • Integrated an external application with OIDC, which frequently fails with error "{"error":"server_error","error_description":"Internal Server Error"}"
  • During the logout process the OAM log file shows ...
  • When this happens, logout does not take place and the access token is not invalidated, so it is still possible to access application hitting the "back" button
