Symptoms

When using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) SDK methods createInstance() and close() from the oracle.odi.coreOdiInstance class, the messages are sent to the standard error out (stderr). 

This can confuse monitoring software that expects anything in the standard error out to be a problem.
