ODI 12c "LKM Hyperion Essbase METADATA to SQL" Fails with "The source column [MemberName] is not valid for dimension" on the "Begin Essbase Metadata Extract" LKM Task (Doc ID 2987422.1)

Symptoms

An Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c Mapping reads metadata from Hyperion Essbase, and writes into an Oracle target table, using "LKM Hyperion Essbase METADATA to SQL." The Essbase Dimension has attribute names with spaces, such as "Area Geografica".

When executing the ODI 12c Mapping, there are no values inserted into the C$ table > AREA_GEOGRAFICA column. It is expected that non-null values would be created in the ODI 12c C$ table in the AREA_GEOGRAFICA column.
