Symptoms

Using WebCenter Portal 12.2.1.4.230905

After patching WebCenter Portal (WCP) with the October 2023 Patch Set Update, an issue is seen for users in Oracle Unified Directory (OUD) that have passwords expiring in the next 14 days.
When attempting to login, users see the login screen again and a message appears stating "User password will be expired".

The admin has to reset the password and then the users are working again.
