Symptoms

Using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c, a very large scenario of a package takes too long to generate and fails after a few hours.

The connection to the database server seems lost.

The scenario generation is attempted using ODI Studio running on a local client machine.

The ODI Agent and repository schemas are located in the Oracle Cloud. 

Source and Target are located on different Cloud regions and on-premise.
